Kitchen Assistant

Location: Falmer, Brighton and Hove, BN1 9BL

This opportunity is to join the team for the 2026/27 Football Season at Brighton & Hove FC. You will work on both matchdays and non-matchdays, including evening and weekend shifts in a fast-paced hospitality and event catering environment. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting.

Duties:
- Support chefs and kitchen teams with food preparation tasks
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient setup
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas
- Follow all food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain recycling procedures where required
- Assist with kitchen setup and close-down procedures
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements:
- Previous experience within a kitchen, catering, or hospitality environment desirable but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working within fast-paced and busy kitchens
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event days
