Brighton College is seeking a full-time or part-time LAMDA Teacher to join their thriving drama department starting in September 2026. The role involves working in state-of-the-art facilities to inspire pupils through participation and high-quality performance instruction.
Duties:
- Teach and prepare pupils for LAMDA drama examinations including Acting, Devising, and Mime.
- Take responsibility for lesson timetabling and the organization of teaching spaces.
- Plan structured lessons in accordance with the LAMDA syllabus.
- Maintain accurate registers and liaise with parents regarding examination entries and reports.
Requirements:
- Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for graded examinations.
- Strong administrative skills for scheduling and maintaining attendance records.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with parents and staff.
- Capacity to differentiate instruction for varying levels of ability and learning needs.
