Location: Louisa Martindale Building, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Eastern Road, Brighton, BN2 5BE

Working as a member of the Outpatients team, you will provide support for Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinics at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and other Trust sites. You will work as a Band 4 trainee for up to two years to gain experience before attending a six-week residential casting course in London. The Trust provides a supportive and flexible working environment to help staff maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Duties:
- Work primarily within the plaster room supporting the running of clinics
- Ensure Orthopaedic inpatients have access to plaster services
- Undertake clinical duties relevant to a trainee orthopaedic practitioner role
- Work alongside qualified colleagues in practitioner-led clinics to provide casting and wound care
- Plan care for patients seen in the Plaster room-led clinics while maintaining autonomy

Requirements:
- GCSE A*-C/4-9 in both English Language and Maths
- Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of experience
- Highly motivated with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new techniques
- Existing right to work in the UK as this role does not meet minimum visa sponsorship criteria
- Willingness to attend a residential training course at Stanmore Orthopaedic Hospital
