Customer Team Member

Location: Ham Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 6PA

This is a permanent part-time role for 12 hours per week plus regular overtime. The working pattern involves closing shifts from mid-afternoon through to late evening and close, with flexible availability across the week to include at least one weekend shift such as Friday after 6pm, or any shift on Saturday or Sunday.

Duties:
- Provide friendly and thoughtful service on the tills and shop floor
- Respond to customer queries and champion Co-op products and Membership
- Re-stock shelves and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are all correct
- Keep the store safe and legal by cleaning up spillages and maintaining standards
- Support colleagues to solve problems and introduce new products and services
- Participate in local community activities and events

Requirements:
- Must be aged 18 or over due to working hours
- A genuine care for the needs of customers and members
- Great people skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- A positive approach to change and problem solving
- The flexibility to work a range of different shifts
- Completion of two online assessments as part of the application process
