Duty Manager

Location: Portslade, Brighton

As a Duty Manager, you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts. This part-time position involves 7.5 contracted hours per week.

Duties:
- Maximize profit by delivering great availability and driving sales
- Support team engagement and work with the Talking Shop Rep
- Implement cash handling and security policies
- Provide excellent service both in-store and at the doorstep
- Lead the team by being approachable and hands-on to deliver a great store experience

Requirements:
- Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is ideal but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues to deliver tasks
- Skills in planning and organizing shifts
- Capability to provide balanced feedback to improve team performance
- Hands-on approach to setting the pace for the team
