Tesco Shift Leader

Location: Portslade Superstore, Brighton

This role involves leading the store team to deliver an excellent experience for customers, acting as the primary point of contact for operational queries. Working hours are scheduled across a range of days: Sunday 11:00-20:00, Monday 14:00-22:30, Friday 16:00-22:30, and Saturday 14:00-22:30.

Duties:

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store
• Working across all areas of the store as the go-to person for operational queries
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting to change
• Coaching colleagues and providing feedback

Requirements:

• Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service
• Ability to build positive, long-lasting relationships
• Clear communication skills
• Natural leadership abilities to motivate the team
