Catering Assistant Bank

Location: Elysium Healthcare, New Church Road, Hove, BN3 4FH

This role is based at the Brighton & Hove Clinic, a specialized service for young people aged 12 to 18 with eating disorders. As a Bank Catering Assistant, you will enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule. You will work within a calm and supportive environment, assisting the Head Chef and catering team in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring operational hygiene standards are maintained.

Duties:

• Assist catering staff with meal preparation following company policies
• Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors
• Maintain storage procedures and perform stock rotation
• Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly
• Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals

Requirements:

• Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable)
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
• Experience in a similar role
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
