Duty Manager

Location: Portslade, East Sussex

We are searching for a committed and passionate Duty Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts. This is a part-time position with contracted hours of 16 hours per week.

Duties:

• Maximise profit by delivering great availability and driving sales
• Engage, develop, and retain team members, supporting an inclusive culture
• Complete actions from daily floor walks and follow cash handling/security policies
• Provide excellent digital and in-store customer service
• Lead, motivate, and organize the shift team hands-on

Requirements:

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is ideal but not essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues to deliver store tasks
• Strong planning and organizational skills to manage the team and shift
• Capability to provide balanced feedback to improve performance
• Hands-on approach to set the pace for the team
