Store Manager

Location: Woodingdean Esso Express, Brighton and Hove, UK

As a Store Manager, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional customer experience within a fast-moving store environment. Your shift patterns will vary from day to day to support your work-life balance, with schedules planned in advance. You will play a pivotal role in driving trade, ensuring operational compliance, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Duties:

• Developing and inspiring a high-performing team with strong operational capability.
• Coaching colleagues to ensure every shopper enjoys great range, quality, and service.
• Leading the team to drive trade, grow sales, and maximise profit through commercial awareness.
• Building managers’ capability to deliver the Store Change Plan.
• Championing colleague safety and legal compliance through consistent operational processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading teams within a retail or customer-facing environment.
• A clear understanding of the importance of the role and working collaboratively.
• A natural, welcoming approach to building strong customer relationships.
• Energy, resilience, and confidence to maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
