Kitchen Assistant

Location: Shoreham by Sea, Brighton and Hove, BN43 6LT, UK

This is a casual, part-time Bank position providing at Barchester Healthcare cover for planned or unplanned staff absences such as annual leave or sick leave. The hours and days you work will vary as you will be providing support as and when needed. You will contribute to the production of meals and help create a fulfilling dining experience for residents, while maintaining high standards in the kitchen and during food preparation.

Duties:

• Assist in the production of high-quality meals for residents
• Create a fulfilling dining experience by interacting with residents
• Maintain cleanliness and high standards in the kitchen
• Provide cover for planned or unplanned staff absences

Requirements:

• Reliability, consideration, and a caring approach
• Flexibility in work patterns
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in a commercial or care setting is advantageous but not essential
