This role involves creating and finishing high-quality cakes and sweet products for an established bakery. You will be expected to maintain a flexible attitude towards working hours and assist in all areas of the operation as required.

Duties:

  • Create and develop innovative and high-quality pastry recipes
  • Carry out the daily production of cakes and sweet products
  • Manage inventory and ingredient sourcing
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate production schedules
  • Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products
  • Adhere to high hygiene and safety standards
  • Contribute to the development of seasonal menus

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Positive and effective communication skills
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
