Kitchen Porter

Location: Southwick Square, Southwick, Brighton and Hove BN42 4FN, UNITED KINGDOM

This role involves supporting the kitchen and front of house teams by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be working in a fast-paced production kitchen environment that also operates as a store.

Duties:

• Maintain a clean and tidy pot wash area in accordance with rotas
• Perform pot wash for pastry equipment and front of house crockery
• Maintain cleanliness of back of house, communal areas, walk-in fridges, and stock rooms
• Manage stock including checking off and packing away deliveries
• Ensure adherence to allergen and food safety guidelines
• Manage laundry and kitchen supplies

Requirements:

• Previous Kitchen Porter experience
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at a fast pace
• Great attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and maintain high standards
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively
