Barista

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking a skilled Barista to join their artisan coffee roasting and hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for coffee and be capable of maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and speed of service. In this role, you will have the chance to work with top-of-the-range coffee equipment while growing in a friendly and supportive team.

Duties:

• Dialling in grinders for all blends and single origins to the brand standard
• Open and close down the coffee section independently
• Maintain the standard speed of service, coffee quality and overall consistency in a fast-paced environment
• Pouring basic latte art and having an understanding of alternative milks
• Learn and assist across all working aspects of the venue as part of the team
• Deliver great hospitality with energy, positivity, and a professional appearance

Requirements:

• Experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment serving specialty espresso and steaming milk
• Strong barista, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, time-management, and prioritisation skills
• A dedicated team-player attitude with a drive for continuous development
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
