Market Street Baker

This role involves working as a Market Street Baker in a fast-paced retail environment with fully flexible shift patterns. You will act as the face of the fresh bakery, ensuring products are prepared to company specifications and displays are maintained to a high standard. You will be expected to work flexibly across other fresh counters to support the needs of the business.

Duties:

• Ensure customer confidence in the availability of fresh bakery products
• Maintain quality, fresh, and attractive food displays throughout the trading day
• Prepare bakery products like bread, rolls, and doughnuts using professional equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers
• Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service to highlight traditional bakery skills

Requirements:

• Passionate about baking with experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
• Naturally helpful, friendly, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Competent baker skills including the ability to mix and mould dough
• Ability to use a range of bakery equipment while maintaining Health & Safety standards
