Postal Delivery Driver

Location: Portslade Delivery Office, BN41 1AA

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver, staying active and connected to the Brighton community. You will work 30 hours per week across a 5-day, Monday to Sunday schedule, with rotating shifts typically between 7:45 - 13:45 or 14:00 - 20:00, including mandatory Sunday shifts at the Hove Delivery Office between 10:00 - 16:00.

Duties:

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers

Requirements:

• Full manual UK driving licence with maximum 6 penalty points
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused
