Flexi Key Holder

Location: 41 First Avenue, Brighton and Hove, BN3 2FH

The Flour Pot Bakery is seeking an experienced barista to assist as a key holder across our 12 sites in Brighton, Hove, and Worthing. This casual role involves opening shifts starting between 6:00am and 6:30am, as well as closing shifts finishing by 6:30pm. Candidates must be able to travel independently between stores, with travel costs covered for shifts in Worthing.

Duties:

• Support the Store Management and teams in the day-to-day running of the store
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Flour Pot standards
• Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers
• Monitor product presentation and quality, ensuring consistent standards
• Manage stock levels, including ordering and waste control
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations
• Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and reconciliation duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality key holder or supervisory role
• Passion for food, coffee, and delivering exceptional service
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 Food Safety desirable)
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Barista experience is a strong advantage
