Barista & Front of House

Join the team at The Flour Pot Bakery in First Avenue, Hove, as a passionate and customer-focused Barista and Front of House team member. We are looking for individuals who love artisan coffee and freshly baked goods to help ensure our store is a welcoming and vibrant space for our community. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, assisting customers with menu choices, and maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area. Whether you are expertly crafting coffee-based drinks or managing display cases, your warm and engaging personality will be central to our success. We offer a competitive pay range of £9.50 - £12.71 per hour on a casual contract with flexible hours between 16 and 40 per week. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for anyone with a proactive approach to teamwork and a passion for hospitality.

Duties:
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including expertly crafted coffee.
- Operating espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment with precision and care.
- Providing excellent customer service and offering recommendations on our range of baked goods.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all front-of-house areas and counters.
- Processing transactions efficiently using the POS system and assisting with stock management.
