We’re looking for a talented and driven Junior Sous Chef to join the dynamic kitchen at Brighton i360. Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will help lead the team and ensure smooth daily operations across the restaurant, bar, and events service.
Duties:
- Support the Sous and Head Chef in daily kitchen management
- Take the lead during service in the Sous Chef’s absence
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Help with staff training, rota support, and kitchen organisation
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in developing new menus and specials
Requirements:
- Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong CDP in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills
- Calm, focused and confident under pressure
- Passion for great food and high standards
- Knowledge of allergens, HACCP, and kitchen compliance
