Trading Assistant

Location: Brighton North Street Local Store, Brighton, BN1 1RG

Working as a Trading Assistant at our fast-paced Brighton North Street Local Store, you will ensure the store is set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they need. This part-time role requires 12 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 15:00 to 19:00. You will work as part of a small, dynamic team to provide a convenient and speedy shopping experience.

Duties:

• Working as part of a small team to ensure that all aspects of the store are ready for our customers
• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves across the store
• Serving customers on checkouts, supporting with deliveries, and keeping the store well-presented, clean and tidy
• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age due to working hours and handling restricted goods
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
• Happy working in a fast-paced, physical and high energy environment
• Comfortable in learning to use new digital tools and technology
