Care Assistant - Care Home

Location: Shoreham by Sea, BN43 6LT

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship and sharing great moments and memories too. This position offers a £2000 Golden Hello and has opportunities available for both full-time and part-time working patterns.

Duties:

• Assist residents with daily activities, providing companionship and support
• Support residents with their food and drink
• Follow individual resident care plans
• Ensure that each resident has one-to-one time

Requirements:

• Experience of caring for older people
• Excellent communication skills
• A compassionate, empathetic, and warm-hearted approach
• A can-do approach to work
