Postperson with Driving

Location: Brighton Delivery Office, BN1 1AA

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver delivering letters and parcels in Brighton. You will work 30 hours per week, 5 days in 7 across Monday to Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 09:00 - 15:30 or 13:25 - 19:55, including some weekends.

Duties:

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers

Requirements:

• A full manual UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs and hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
