Barista

Location: 40 Kensington Gardens, Brighton BN1 4AL, UK

We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team in a high-volume, quality coffee environment. You will be responsible for serving specialty espresso, pouring expertly steamed milk, and maintaining brand standards across our machines and grinders. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses a genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.

Duties:

• Dialling in grinders for all blends and single origins to brand standard
• Opening and closing down the coffee section independently
• Maintaining standard speed of service and coffee quality
• Pouring basic latte art and utilizing alternative milks
• Learning and assisting across all working aspects of the venue
• Delivering great hospitality and representing the brand positively
• Undertaking regular training and supporting the team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment
• Strong barista skills and understanding of at-home brewing methods
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and use initiative
• Dedicated team-player with a professional appearance
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
