Postperson with Driving

Location: Brighton Delivery Office, BN1 1AA

Join Royal Mail as a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) and become the face of our trusted service, delivering letters and parcels in Brighton. This active role operates 30 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule, working 5 days out of 7 across Monday to Sunday with shift times of 09:00 - 15:30 or 13:25 - 19:55.

Duties:

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers
• Drive a Royal Mail van daily

Requirements:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused
