Postperson with Driving

Location: Brighton Delivery Office, BN1 1AA

Join Royal Mail as a Postie and become the face of a trusted service, delivering letters and parcels in the Brighton community while staying active. You will work on a permanent contract with a rotating shift schedule of 30 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7 between Monday and Sunday, with shift times alternating between 09:00 - 15:30 and 13:25 - 19:55.

Duties:

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers

Requirements:

• Full manual UK driving licence with maximum 6 penalty points
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs or hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused
