Customer Team Member

Location: Mile Oak Road Portslade, Brighton, BN41 2RB

This role involves working closing shifts from mid-afternoon through to late evening and close, with flexible availability required across the week. You must be available for at least one weekend shift, which may include Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. This is a part-time permanent position involving delivering helpful service and essential support to the local community.

Duties:

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work on the shop floor and tills to contribute to daily operations
• Maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Ensure the store is safe and legal by monitoring prices, dates, and temperatures
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment
