Kitchen Porter

Seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to support kitchen operations on a flexible schedule where team members can pick shifts that suit their availability. The role offers the opportunity to choose a work schedule that fits around education or other commitments while assisting the night kitchen team.

Duties:

• Support kitchen operations by assisting the Night Kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organised, and well-prepared kitchen environment
• Maintain cleanliness standards by ensuring all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly
• Ensure health and safety compliance by following all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures
• Support team efficiency by working collaboratively with the kitchen brigade
• Assist with kitchen organisation to help manage the flow of equipment
• Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
