Painter and Decorator

Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, East Sussex, UK

Seeking a Casual Painter and Decorator at DoubleTree Brighton Metropole to ensure that all painted surfaces, wall coverings, and finishes are well-maintained and visually appealing. Offers flexible shifts allowing team members to pick up shifts based on availability and around other commitments.

Duties:

• Prepare and apply finishes by painting and polishing surfaces in hotel rooms and public areas to meet required standards and timelines
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings such as vinyl, fabric, and foil
• Maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer
• Keep all painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition
• Oversee supply inventory and ensure all paints and solvents are stored safely and properly
