Sales Assistant

Location: Brighton, UK

Footasylum is seeking a Seasonal Sales Assistant for its Brighton store on a 6-week festive temporary contract running from Sunday 22nd November 2026 to Saturday 2nd January 2027. The role offers 8 hours per week across rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, supporting key trading events including Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Boxing Day. Pay ranges from £8.00 to £12.71 per hour and includes a 30% staff discount across Footasylum and Sevenstore alongside dedicated wellbeing support.

Duties:

• Help customers discover products and style complete fits across footwear, clothing, and accessories.
• Support festive gift shopping with product recommendations and expert customer advice.
• Learn brands, trends, and product stories to confidently assist every shopper.
• Bring energy to key trading events including Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Boxing Day.
• Contribute to store sales targets, build customer confidence, and celebrate team achievements.
• Keep the store organised, well-merchandised, and welcoming for visitors.

Requirements:

• Passion for trainers, streetwear, and youth culture trends.
• Confident, customer-focused approach with a friendly and authentic shop floor presence.
• Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts Monday through Sunday during the festive peak.
• Valid Right to Work documentation to present at the interview stage.
• Note: Colleagues under 18 cannot work past 10pm due to working regulations.
