Deputy Manager

Location: Lewes Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN2 3QA, UK

Seeking a Deputy Store Manager to support store operations at Aldi. The role involves driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and improving operational efficiency. It offers a flexible working contract of 25-35 hours per week with an additional £4 per hour premium when running the store.

Duties:

• Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained

Requirements:

• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
• Skilled in time management and cost control
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently
• Strong customer service and compliance skills
• Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential
