Kitchen Porter

Location: 7-8 Jubilee St, Brighton BN1 1GE, UK

Seeking a part‑time Kitchen Porter with weekend availability at Las Iguanas. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring a safe kitchen environment in a fast‑paced setting.

Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitising all areas used for meal preparation, including ovens, grills, sinks and stoves
• Unloading food and equipment deliveries and storing them in the correct areas
• Ensuring work surfaces, floors, and walls are clean and sanitised
• Assisting chefs with food preparation such as peeling and washing
• Keeping freezers, fridges, storage and back‑of‑house areas clean and organised
• Supporting chefs and maintaining a tidy, safe kitchen environment
