Tesco Shift Leader 2

Location: Portslade Superstore, Brighton

Join Tesco as a Shift Leader, where you will lead the store team to deliver a great experience for customers. This role involves working across all areas of the store, acting as the go-to person for day-to-day operations, and coaching colleagues to perform at their best. Contracted hours are scheduled within the availability windows of Sunday 07:30 - 20:00, Monday 14:00 - 22:30, and Saturday 14:00 - 22:30.

Duties:

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback, and role modelling great service.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or over to apply.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
• Ability to build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• Clear communicator who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
