Tesco Shift Leader 1

Location: Portslade Superstore, Brighton

This role involves leading the team to provide an excellent customer experience while acting as the go-to person for operational queries. Working patterns are scheduled within availability windows of Sundays 07:30 - 20:00, Tuesdays 10:00 - 22:30, and Fridays 10:00 - 22:30. You will be responsible for coaching colleagues, modeling great service, and confidently leading the store in the manager's absence.

Duties:

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and being the go-to person for operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting to change.
• Coaching colleagues and providing feedback.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service.
• Ability to build positive, long-lasting relationships.
• Clear communication skills.
• Natural leadership abilities to motivate and inspire the team.
• Must be 18 or over.
