Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: Barchester Healthcare, Shoreham by Sea, Brighton and Hove, BN43 6LT, UK

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families and visitors. Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. This role is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis, with opportunities to work flexibly.

Duties:

• Prepare dining areas and ensure they are clean, comfortable, and inviting
• Serve meals and refreshments to residents, families, and visitors
• Assist with kitchen duties and support daily food and beverage service delivery
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service

Requirements:

• Experience in a hospitality, catering, or customer service environment
• A friendly, caring, and professional approach with good communication skills
• An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment as part of a team
