Kitchen Porter

Location: Falmer, Brighton and Hove, UK, BN1 9BL

This role is to join the team at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club for the 2026/27 Football Season. The schedule includes flexible shifts covering both matchdays and non-matchday events, which requires availability during evenings and weekends.

Duties:

• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are followed
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling procedures
• Keep floors, surfaces, and workstations clean and hazard-free
• Support with kitchen setup and close-down procedures
• Ensure bins are emptied regularly
• Follow all company food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience desirable but not essential
• Hardworking and reliable attitude
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
• Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event days
