Key Holder

Location: Bank House, Southwick Square, Southwick, BN42 4FN

The Flour Pot Bakery is seeking a Café Key Holder to support the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service and leading the team. This role requires opening and/or closing duties, a hands-on approach to hospitality, and excellent customer service skills. Please note that all staff at the Southwick site are also required to carry out shifts at the coffee cart set up at the Brighton & Hove Albion FC training ground.

Duties:

• Responsible for opening or closing the café, including setting up for service, cash handling, and securing the premises
• Deliver an outstanding experience to every customer, upholding excellent service standards
• Support and motivate the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
• Assist with stock management, health & safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Confidently prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food
• Carry out shifts at the coffee cart setup at the Brighton & Hove Albion FC training ground

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hospitality, café, or retail environment
• Experience in a supervisory or key holder role is preferred
• Passion for great coffee, food, and customer service
• Strong leadership, communication, and team working skills
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and responsibly
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
