Counsellor

Location: Project House, Princess House, Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XB

This role involves providing high-quality counselling to Bupa customers on a part-time or full-time basis. Sessions are available Monday to Friday in shifts of 8am - 4pm or 2pm - 10pm, as well as weekends from 08:30am - 17:00pm, with a requirement for at least one late or weekend shift per week.

Duties:

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence-based interventions.
• Offer different models of service delivery, including face to face sessions.
• Adhere to Bupa's case management processes and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and promote mental wellbeing through presentations and workshops.

Requirements:

• BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, NCPS Professional Accredited Registrant, or UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor/Psychotherapist.
• 3 years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to evaluate, plan, and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
