Relief Chef

Location: Brighton & Hove, UK

Seeking a mobile Relief Chef to provide cover in the Brighton and Hove area, supporting existing site-based catering teams. This permanent role offers high flexibility, working 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, term-time only (38 weeks per year) with no weekends. The position requires independent travel between local educational sites.

Duties:

• Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by the company and client
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately
• Maintain the company's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers
• Support the day-to-day running of locations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans

Requirements:

• Must have own transport for a mobile-based role
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
• Ability to undergo and obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure
