Retail Customer Service

Location: Brighton & Hove, UK

Seeking a Retail Customer Service representative to deliver exceptional service and maintain shop standards across Ladbrokes and Coral betting shops. The role involves working a 20-hour weekly rota consisting of a mix of opening, closing, and evening shifts, with availability required Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays and weekends. Rotas are provided at least four weeks in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Duties:

• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Promote safer gambling initiatives
• Take bets on sports and events
• Process customer transactions and handle cash
• Demonstrate products and betting terminals
• Resolve customer complaints with empathy
• Work towards defined targets
• Maintain high shop standards
• Open or close the shop

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or over
• Previous experience in a customer-facing setting
• Confidence working with customers in person
• Familiarity with cash handling and payment transactions
