Painter and Decorator

Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, UK

Offering a casual contract, this position allows the flexibility to pick shifts that suit personal availability, making it suitable for those balancing other employment or education. The role involves maintaining hotel finishes and delivering memorable guest experiences by ensuring rooms and public areas are visually appealing.

Duties:

• Prepare and apply finishes by painting and polishing surfaces to meet hotel standards
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings including vinyl, fabric, and foil
• Maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer
• Keep painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition
• Manage painting supply inventory and ensure safe storage of paints and solvents
