Shift Leader - Days

Location: Portslade Superstore, Brighton

Tesco is recruiting a permanent Shift Leader (Days) at the Portslade Superstore working 22.5 hours per week. Shifts will be scheduled within the availability window of Sundays (07:30 - 20:00), Tuesdays (11:00 - 22:30), and Saturdays (06:00 - 15:00), with at least 3 weeks' notice provided. The role offers £15.59 per hour, colleague discount cards, wellbeing support, and pension matching.

Duties:

• Lead the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Work across all store areas and act as the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Confidently lead the store in the Manager's absence.
• Coach colleagues, give feedback, and role model exceptional service.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service.
• Clear communicator who motivates and inspires the team.
