Trading Assistant

Location: Lewes Road Store, Brighton, BN2 3QA, UK

Seeking a Trading Assistant to join the team at Sainsbury's on a fixed-term assignment. The role involves ensuring the store is set up brilliantly to provide outstanding value, quality, and service to customers. This physical, fast-paced position includes overnight shifts with a premium paid for hours worked between midnight and 5am.

Duties:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages to replenish products across the store
• Keeping shelves clean, tidy, and full of well-presented products
• Serving customers, supporting with questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store and supporting with deliveries as required

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older due to working hours and handling restricted goods
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Happy working overnight in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment
• Friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic about helping customers
• Comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology
