Chef de Partie

Location: Amex Offices, Brighton, BN1 1UF, UK

Seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the catering team supporting the Amex Offices in Brighton and Burgess Hill. The role involves preparing fresh, high-quality food in a professional corporate environment. Shifts run Monday to Friday only, typically scheduled between 7:00am and 4:00pm, providing an excellent weekday-only work-life balance.

Duties:

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for corporate dining and hospitality services
• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Preparing food in line with company recipes and presentation standards
• Assisting with menu preparation and food production
• Managing stock rotation and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Following Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and allergen procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional food service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar chef role is essential
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
• Provision of own chef whites, chef knives, and black non-slip safety shoes
