Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Location: Mindplace Brighton, Project House, Princess House, Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XB

Seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to provide high quality, safe, and effective CBT interventions on a face-to-face basis. The role requires working part-time for a minimum of 2 days per week between Monday and Friday, 8am-5pm, conducting 5 appointments per day. Joining the team at Bupa involves delivering comprehensive assessments, brief interventions, and evidence-based treatments to support client mental health and therapeutic recovery.

Duties:

• Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention and determine appropriate care pathways.
• Provide different models of service delivery including face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations depending on client preference.
• Adhere to sessional limits and case management processes while collaborating with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
• Provide signposting, onwards referrals, ad-hoc wellbeing support, coaching, and one-off assessments as required.
• Deliver group psychoeducation, raise mental health awareness, and present workshops or remote guidance.
• Attend regular individual and group clinical supervision in line with Bupa and professional body guidelines.

Requirements:

• Full Accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
• At least 2 years' post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions.
• Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
• Excellent clinical knowledge, presentation, interpersonal communication, and workload prioritisation skills.
