Sales Assistant

Location: The Works, Brighton, BN1 2EB, UK

Seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team on an 8-hour contract with fully flexible working days across weekdays and weekends. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, making product recommendations, maintaining store standards, and operating tills. Keyholder duties may also be trained and assigned to open and close the store.

Duties:

• Proactively approach and engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products.
• Maintain store standards, including merchandising, cleanliness, and stock replenishment.
• Operate tills accurately and handle customer transactions with care.
• Assist with store deliveries, stockroom organisation, and maintaining product availability.
• Perform keyholder responsibilities such as opening and closing the store securely when assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to proactively approach customers and start friendly conversations.
• Supportive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a variety of flexible shifts.
• Comfortable learning to use store tills and handle transactions accurately.
• Ability to perform active store tasks including using stairs, handling deliveries, and moving stock.
