Retail assistant

Location: Brighton, UK

Seeking a part‑time Night Retail Assistant for a temporary contract starting 09 January 2027. The role involves working overnight shifts between 22:00 and 06:45, providing customer service and maintaining the sales floor. Candidates must be 18+ and able to work the specified night hours. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.

Duties:

• Resetting the salesfloor, including creating eye‑catching displays and replenishing the stock on the shelves.
• Making sure the stock is correctly priced and that any price changes are clear and visible to customers.
• Handling all stock, stock transfers, deliveries, and removing items from the salesfloor that don’t meet high standards.
• Implement any changes to the salesfloor, such as layout.
• Keeping a tidy and well‑organised stockroom.

Requirements:

• Honest with strong communication skills, able to listen, share ideas and get involved where needed.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Team player with high motivation, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
