Bank Driver

Location: Brighton General Hospital, Elm Grove, Brighton, BN2 3EW, UK

Seeking a Bank Driver to support the Logistics teams at Brighton General Hospital on a flexible, part‑time basis. The role involves driving various vehicles to provide courier, removals and vehicle delivery services, as well as manual handling and post‑room support. Flexible working options are available.

Duties:

• Provide a high quality, safe and efficient transport service.
• Undertake driving tasks including courier services, removals and vehicle deliveries.
• Support post‑room activities including sorting mail en route and manual handling.
• Comply with statutory and mandatory requirements, including Trust internal training, road traffic legislation, loading and handling regulations, and waste carriage/management.
• Participate in and promote partnership working throughout the Logistics service across the Trust and with commercial partners.

Requirements:

• UK or EU driving licence (essential)
• Driving experience (essential)
• Demonstrated suitability, enthusiasm and willingness for the role (essential)
• Ability to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service check (essential)
