Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant

Seeking a seasonal part‑time retail sales assistant for The Works in Brighton. The role offers a fully flexible schedule across weekdays and weekends, with a commitment of 6 hrs per week. Assistants will create festive shopping experiences, support customers in finding gifts, and contribute to store merchandising during the Christmas period.

Duties:

• Welcome customers and engage in friendly conversations to understand their gifting needs.
• Recommend products and gifts from the Christmas range.
• Manage deliveries, price and label merchandise, and sort items onto shop‑floor displays.
• Follow planograms and create attractive product presentations.
• Handle heavy stock and navigate stairs while maintaining a tidy stockroom.
• Support the team with replenishing shelves and maintaining store appearance.

Requirements:

• Confident and customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to act as a brand ambassador, representing The Works positively.
• Physically capable of handling heavy deliveries and moving stock.
• Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to work a 6‑hour weekly schedule in a seasonal role.
