HOSPITALITY EVENTS WEEKEND EVENING

Location: Falmer, Brighton and Hove, UK, BN1 9BL

This role involves joining the team for the 2026/27 Football Season, supporting the delivery of high-quality food in a fast-paced hospitality and event environment. You will be expected to work across matchdays and non-matchday conferences, which includes required availability for evening and weekend shifts.

Duties:

  • Prepare, cook, and present food to company and venue standards
  • Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section during service
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and within required service times
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
  • Follow all allergen and food safety procedures correctly
  • Ensure temperature checks and due diligence records are completed accurately
  • Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
  • Follow all company health & safety procedures and standards
  • Remain organised and efficient during busy service periods

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role
  • Experience working within fast-paced hospitality, catering, or event environments
  • Passion for food quality and presentation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy services
  • Good understanding of food safety and allergen procedures
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event days
