Location: Falmer, Brighton and Hove, UK, BN1 9BL
This role involves joining the team for the 2026/27 Football Season, supporting the delivery of high-quality food in a fast-paced hospitality and event environment. You will be expected to work across matchdays and non-matchday conferences, which includes required availability for evening and weekend shifts.
Duties:
- Prepare, cook, and present food to company and venue standards
- Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section during service
- Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and within required service times
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Follow all allergen and food safety procedures correctly
- Ensure temperature checks and due diligence records are completed accurately
- Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and standards
- Remain organised and efficient during busy service periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role
- Experience working within fast-paced hospitality, catering, or event environments
- Passion for food quality and presentation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy services
- Good understanding of food safety and allergen procedures
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event days
