Food on Campus Assistant

Location: Brighton - Falmer

Join our campus café team to deliver top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract for 30 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled from 8.30am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to work between 7.30am and 6.30pm.

Duties:

• Preparing simple, tasty food items
• Confidently operating barista coffee machines
• Handling transactions at the till
• Creating a welcoming space for students and staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role
• Clear and warm communication skills
• Ability to stay cool and efficient during busy service times
• Enjoy working collaboratively with a supportive team
