Customer Assistant

Location: Carden Avenue, Brighton, UK

Seeking a Customer Assistant to join the store operations team at Marks & Spencer. This physically demanding, high-intensity role keeps the store running smoothly by managing stock, deliveries, and ensuring the shop floor is fully stocked and clean. The position operates on a bi-weekly rotating shift pattern covering weekdays and weekends, with hours scheduled across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Duties:

• Managing stock, deliveries, and vital behind-the-scenes store operations
• Ensuring the shop floor remains full, clean, and ready for customers
• Using digital tools to track deliveries and manage stock availability
• Supporting colleagues across various functions of the store

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older due to health and safety regulations
• Digital confidence to operate stock tracking and delivery systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, adapting to early morning or late day shifts
• Strong teamwork skills and a fast, focused approach to task completion
